Sitting Pretty

I have a thing about chairs. I don't know why, but I love chairs. Pairs of chairs or single lonely ones. Maybe I love chairs so much because, I love to sit and do nothing, because I have little time to sit and do nothing, that's just another dream of mine.

I found this cute chair this past weekend and the price was great so although I had no idea where I was going to put it, I brought it home. It was another piece of dark wood furniture, that I love.

I initially thought that I would put the chair next to this table. Wouldn't that look nice? But the chair had other ideas.

It wanted to go in my dining room to hold a basket of dried flowers and pine cones.

I'm ok with that.

Oh, by the way, the turkeys are multiplying.

What a great chair, I love how the bottom rungs are round, very unusual....

Howdy-do! That's a very unique chair and I think you did the right thing to let it speak to you and tell you where it wants to be! I think it made the right decision - :)

I am always on the hunt for some dining room chairs, so I guess it's an obsession.

My sister once made a friend stop on the freeway after she saw a chair on the side. I guess that's obsession.

Ciao

Oh, the chair is cute ... but absolutely love Mel Carter singing that song! Boy, takes me back to my 20s! What a treat to hear that ... they just don't write songs like that anymore! I'm 65, so listening to that is a true walk down memory lane! Hugs!!

Good morning! Good to hear from you! And thanks for stopping by - hope everything is going well in PA - ya'll having snow and yucky stuff yet?

I've never heard of Mel Carter before, but he sure has a nice voice!

You are right about your comment - I did not embarrass my daughter! And they are so easily embarrassed by us, aren't they! Have a wonderful day! Hugs - Vickie
